indeed a knight you are
a noble knight you are
a royal knight you are
a noble, royal knight you are

there
in the same ordeal i have been
exactly is the feeling
i be acquainted with
believe me, i understand

for

it is a pity, though
for such pristine novelty
the oath of knight you have taken
be broken by unnoble deeds

and as for you, my fellow
by way of the holy pledge and
by means of my humble sincerity
shall i utter this

put an end to ye comparing, o knight
for to evil it shall escort us both
and thee must not compare i
for i too shall not compare thee
solitarily is what we stand for
